Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour in 2 days
I and friend we did sahara desert 2-Day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert, in these 2 days we saw and experienced a lot of different beautiful landscapes of Morocco. On the first day Marrakech desert tour 2 days we stopped at the fortified village of kasbah Ait Ben Haddou where they shot many famous films including Game of Thrones and Lawrence of Arabia. Later we had a quick stop at Kasbah Amredhil a 17th-century Kasbahs. Our two days desert journey continues through Kalaa M’Gouna, Boumalne Dades, Dades valley and todra gorge on the way we witness stunning landscape of the high atlas mountains.
The Merzouga desert camp was the star of the show! What a surreal experience under the light of the stars and Milky Way. We rode camels to the luxury campsites waiting for us in the middle of the desert where we enjoyed a glass of mint tea, later traditional Berber music, and food for dinner. Unforgettable night!!!!

We booked the private tour of a 3-day 3 trip from Marrakesh to the desert and back.
We got picked up by the driver in a comfortable van and were underway in no time.
The itinerary was perfect for the 3 days. Not too cramped and with a lot of unexpected sights along the way.
The knowledgeable driver was super. We felt very safe and always in control of North African traffic….not easy to achieve, but he did. He explained well along the way what was going on and we felt well informed at all times. On the second day of our 3-day Merzouga desert trip, we went to Tenghir – todra gorges – tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga dunes
The desert experience was of course the highlight. A tent camp with WiFi, excellent food, stunning sunrise and spectacular sunset
We enjoyed this trip in large part especially Merzouga Sahara, thanks to the good organization of the tour operator and the excellent service by the driver and the different subcontractors (hotel, restaurant, desert tour,, etc) if we are going back, we would book with Ali again.
